Welcome to the 2014 issue number 5 of our members only newsletter.

We have compiled a list of Business Referrals that have been reported to us. Those examples of cooperation and interaction are the best evidence of Integra’s success. Let us know about your interaction with other member firms and we will be happy to report about it in the next issue of our newsletter.

Other professional achievements and information about our members and their firms are reported in Member News.

Unfortunately nothing to report this time in the New Members section where as always, you will find a link to the most current membership statistics.

In Other News we remind you of the substantial upgrade to our website and  we have some tips on using social media to reach a global audience. We also have the latest updates on our 2015 conferences and workshops. Hotel reservations will once again be handled internally by Integra.

Conferences and Meetings

The date of our Annual World Wide Conference at the Le Meridien Hotel in Vienna, Austria, is rapidly approaching. We will celebrate Integra’s 20th Anniversary on 23-25 October 2014. Join us to experience Vienna’s flair and charm, and enjoy the wide cultural, architectural and culinary offers of this city with us. We have been asked several times how “formal” the Saturday Gala Dinner will be. It will be an elegant evening out but no black tie event. Business attire and cocktail dress will be fine.

 If you have not registered, please do so soon and reserve your hotel room using our on line registration system which is included with the invitation. If you have not received an invitation, please contact Susanne Martius.

Once again a successful Cross Border Tax Workshop was held on 13 September 2014 in Brussels hosted by Jeroen Vanderlinden and his team from our member firm THESORA. 26 people from 13 countries attended and spent a whole day discussing “Exchange of Information between Tax Authorities Worldwide.” A combined power point presentation was produced and sent to all participants. Should you be interested, please contact Susanne Martius.

 The 10th Cross Border Tax Workshop will be held in September 2015 in Dublin, Ireland. The hot topic will be “Holdings”.


Business Referrals

Referrals reflect the success of our worldwide association and again our members have been busy taking advantage of their international contacts to assist their clients with the highest professional advice. But it's not only referrals - many requests for help with both technical and administrative issues have been met with steady responses.

If you would like to report any referrals or assistance, please send an e-mail or call your section Administrator. It is your chance to publicly thank your colleagues.

Despite no new members to report this issue, efforts to increase our membership numbers continue. We have talked to two firms in Kansas and both have indicated that they will join.

Other News

Website Upgrade: As reported last issue, the Integra International website has had a substantial upgrade completed and now we are pleased to announce that the mobile app has also been updated - very handy for those on the go. The upgrades incorporate the latest website technology available. Check them out. You are missing out if you do not have photos and résumés of your firm contact people.

Social Sharing: We’ve noticed that many Integra member firms are now promoting their news, services and expertise by using social media sites like LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. Did you know that Integra International also uses these social media sites? We would like to use one of Integra’s greatest benefits, the global reach of its member firms, to promote our combined social media network. Read more »
