Positive comments about our internal newsletter continue to roll in. It seems like members look forward to it every 2nd month.

In this issue we again provide updated membership statistics. We are pleased to announce one new member, some follow up negotiations, and a due diligence trip.

Keeping our staffing and revenue statistics up to date is important since almost all firms that are considering membership in Integra International look at that chart to see how substantial we are. Please check your firm's staffing statistics on our web site to make sure that they are current. Just locate your firm from the link "firm locations" then click on the link to your firm and then click on "staffing"

Business referrals between members  are an important function of our association and again this month we present a good list of examples.

We are looking forward to our world wide conference in Melbourne this month.

As always, your questions, comments, or suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

Richard Purcell, CA

Administrator for the Integra EMEIA Section

Conferences

The locations of our 2012 conferences have been decided. AAA will meet in Seattle in May; EMEIA will meet in Copenhagen in June, and the world wide conference will see us get together in Madrid in October.

New Members

Our membership committees are constantly busy. The EMEIA Executive Committee is pleased to announce that Integra International has a new member in Capetown, South Africa. C2M Chartered Accountants was founded in 1997 and has grown to a firm of 3 partners, 1 associate, and over 100 staff members. Their web site is www.c2m.co.za

The AAA Executive Committee is working on inquiries received from the state of Virginia in the US and from Chile. A due diligence trip to visit three firms in Puerto Rico has just been completed. The introductions came through our relationship with the World Trade Center.

Business Referrals

Contact between members just continues to go on and on. Our usual list of referrals and assistance is a testament to that fact.

The information that we receive through e-mails, telephone calls, and face-to-face meetings cite actual examples of Integra member cooperation during the past two months.

Other News

Wagemann + Partner, our member in Berlin, hosted the Integra International Cross Border Tax Workshop on September 17. This was the sixth time that this group has met and this time the focus of the workshop was Transfer Pricing. Member firm representatives from 12 countries attended this year's workshop. The EMEIA Tax Group and Wagemann + Partner would like to thank all of them for attending and making the event a big success, but special thanks to members from Buenos Aires, Vancouver, Atlanta, and Mexico City for coming the long way to Berlin to attend the workshop.

Franz Schweiger is preparing a summary presentation for the world wide conference in Melbourne. The presentations and case studies from several different countries generated about 130 powerpoint slides.

The next Cross Border Tax Workshop in September, 2012 will be hosted by Londen & Van Holland in Amsterdam. We look forward to another great professional event.
