Dear Integra International member firms, your clients and other interested parties.

As of 1 March, 2015 I am the new Editor for the Global Update. A tremendous debt of gratitude and thanks to former Editor and Global Board Chairman, Franz Schweiger for his many years of service in providing you the news you need to be successful.

Integra International is a worldwide association of independent accounting, audit, tax and consulting firms. Our strength, and your benefit, is knowing that no matter where in the world business takes you, there is an Integra firm ready and able to provide you with excellent service. This is evident by the varied authors and topics that follow.

In This Issue

Learn about the tax advantages and substance requirements of Cooperative Associations (Coop) in the Netherlands from Soumaya Ben Taleb, Accountant with Londen & Van Holland in Amsterdam.

Damien Knoblanche, Partner with The Peak Partnership in Brisbane shares his thought and observation on why the Brisbane G20 Summit may well be remembered as the start of global economic reform as we know it today.

Everyone’s favorite IFRS concept – Deferred Taxes  – and its treatment in countries that have adopted IFRS is presented by Abiola Adebakin, Manager with TAC Professional Services in Lagos who tells us how deferred taxes is treated in Nigeria.

The next issue of Global Update will be published July 2015. In the meantime Integra will hold several executive and member meetings which surely will produce more content and information for us to share with you. Don’t miss our 2015 events and conferences in Houston, Brussels, Dublin and Santiago de Chile where you’ll meet fellow Integra members and continue making Integra work for you.  I look forward to seeing you at one of the events.

Best regards,

Maria Nazario, CAE

Chief Executive Officer, Integra International
