Steve is Managing Partner in San Diego for Swenson Advisors, LLP, a regional PCA0B accounting firm, specializing in audit and consulting engagements with a focus on SEC/ SOX engagements for technology, manufacturing, electronics, software and medical device companies.

He has lectured on SOX issues to dozens of audiences around the world and has completed a wide variety of SOX engagements including several SOX/404 attestation engagements in the United States. He is the author of “Rise of the New Ethics Class,” a book that focuses on business ethics and has published an article in China Briefing, entitled “The Sarbanes-Oxley Act, And Compliance for U.S. Companies in China.”

Steve is a CPA in California and Georgia and is a member of the California Society of CPAs and the AICPA. On the Global Board of Integra International, he is responsible for its Asian practice. He is the Audit Committee Chairman for Avanir Pharmaceuticals, a NASDAQ company. Steve has been an audit partner with Price Waterhouse and RSM McGladrey.
