Donald J. DeGrazia is a certified public accountant in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and a shareholder in the accounting and business valuation firm of Gold Gocial Gerstein, LLP, in Moorestown, New Jersey. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) and the Institute of Business Appraisers. He co-chairs the Business Valuation Committee of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has attained an Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants signifying experience and expertise in the valuation of businesses. He served on a virtual committee of the AICPA Accredited in Business Valuation Examination Committee, which developed the questions for the ABV Examination given nationally. He is a member of the AICPA Family Law Task Force, formed to establish a body of knowledge for accounting experts involved in family law litigation. He also serves on the “Ask the Experts” panel of the AICPA ABV E-Valuation Alert electronic newsletter distributed monthly.

Don has provided expert testimony in court and arbitration proceedings in various matters, including business valuation issues relating to matrimonial and minority stockholder litigation, fraud, economic damages, and bankruptcy proceedings, and has been qualified as an expert witness by the federal, New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts. He has also prepared valuation reports for businesses and professional practices for purposes of estate and gift planning and compliance, succession planning, and mergers and acquisitions.

He has prepared damage study reports in connection with stockholder, insurance claims, and lost profits litigation, as well as reports in connection with bankruptcy proceedings utilized by the courts and trustees.
