SALT – US State and Local Taxation
The mission of this committee is two-fold: first, to provide rapid response to tax questions regarding the unique laws of each state in the U.S. and, second, to foster the next generation relationships on an intra-member firm basis. To this end, the committee will be comprised of only managers and associates with partners acting as their advisors/mentors.
Monthly Video Series
- January 2019 – Click Here to watch Erdi Maresco from Leaf Saltzman
Erdi talks about state and local tax updates from Wolters Kluwer CCH Tracker News.
The committee will field questions throughout the year, including the busy seasons. Integra members with questions are asked to identify the following:
- U.S. state that the question relates to,
- Nature of their question,
- If extensive research is needed – can the time be billed to client or Integra firm?
- If written documentation is required
This page is dedicated to facilitate the U.S. SALT inquiries and responses. Inquiries will be assigned to a member of our 12 person team. The requestor will receive a confirmation of receipt as well as any clarification on the question. The assigned committee members will provide the responses to the inquiries, and if there is any chargeable work, it will be billed by that firm. We will post the responses on the Integra Interactive Members Only Area to provide a resource to our Integra members.
