A Message from the COO,
Mark Saunders

I would like to start by wishing all our members a very happy and prosperous new year!

I have just returned from the Annual Meeting of the Global Board which was held in Paris. We were hosted by OIivier Lefebre, Managing Partner at BATT & Associés. I would like to place on record my thanks to him and his firm for hosting a lovely reception at their offices in the heart of Paris and for their hospitality to all of the Global Board members and the Integra team during our visit. Although the weather was cold it did not prevent us from enjoying our stay in such a beautiful city.

We are looking forward to a very busy year with conferences planned in Dallas Texas May 18 to 20; in Zurich Switzerland June 15 to 17; in Singapore October 26 to 28; and of course our Cross-Border Tax Workshop which will take place in Berlin on September 16. We do hope that many of you will be able to join us at one of these events as it is the best way of creating and maintaining relationships which will be profitable to you and your firms.

We also have a full programme of online special interest group meetings and webinars. Please register for these by responding to the invitations that you receive and if you wish other members of your firm to attend, please encourage them to register on our website or contact our administrators to ensure they receive invitations. The upcoming events are listed elsewhere in this newsletter.

After every special interest group or webinar meeting we do send out surveys to our members and I would like to thank all of you who have responded to these. The results of the surveys which we received during last year were reviewed by the Global Board during their recent meeting and we were very gratified to learn that our members are very happy with what we are providing.

One of our most recent presentations was from long standing Global Board member Steve Austin, Managing Partner at Swenson Advisors in San Diego California. His presentation on Audit Failures and new Audit Risks was attended by record audience and the very positive feedback he received made even Steve blush. We thank him and all our members who helped us to prepare and present these presentations as it adds so much to our Association. If you or any member of your firm has a subject or a particular interest or expertise that could be shared with Integra members we will be pleased to learn about it and to incorporate it into our future plans.

One of the finest aspects of integra international is the willingness of our members to freely share their expertise and experience thereby providing value to our members and enhancing their reputation within our association.

I would like to thank Susanne, Kathy, Lois and Slava for all their hard work and dedication during the past year and our Global Chairman Roby Almog and all the members of the Global Board for their support and encouragement.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible during 2023
