Referrals Process

How to arrange the successful referral of a client from one Integra firm to another

Every Integra Member Firm is equally delighted to give and receive a referral. 
To promote transparency and clear communication this simple policy should be followed.
Firm Giving the Referral 
  1. Your Client needs to do business with a firm in another Country or Designation.
  2. Contact the firm and identify if they are capable and available to assist your client.  
  3. You send an introductory Email to connect the Client and the other Integra Firm.
“Dear fellow Integra Member Firm, I am happy to refer my client, (Insert Name of contact person of Insert name of Firm located in Name of City, and Country.  They are in need of yyy service." Please reply all that you can help them or refer them to another firm that specialized in their area of need.
  1. Please make note to follow up with both your client and referral firm if you do not hear back in one week’s time.   It is very important that both the client and Integra Firm communicate back to you.   Simply Reply ALL to your original email.
  2. If you do not hear back, please call.  Your client will know you care about their business.   
  3. If there are any problems, please notify your Regional Board President, or Global Administrator for further assistance or suggestions. 
Firm Receiving the Referral
  1. Reply ALL to introductory email.
“Dear (name of Client that needs help), It is my pleasure to understand your scope of work needed.    Thank you (name of Integra member and Firm) for the referral.   I will CC you on our correspondences, so you are confident that your client is being well taken care of. “   
  1. When the business is completed, and correspondences have ended, please follow up with the referring firm.  If your firm cannot help the client with their request, please refer them to another firm and communicate back to the Referring Firm via an email. 
These actions will only take a few minutes of your time but will give you so much peace of mind in return.  You will gain a deeper relationship with your client and fellow Integra members.  There is also the assurance of knowing that your referral is followed up on.   If the Integra Member cannot help the client’s request, it need to be clearly addressed in writing and preferably with a solution or additional referral.   Email is the strongest method as it creates a paper trail to follow up on.
Integra Leadership would like to ensure a smooth process regarding referrals.  Clear documentation will eliminate a communication drop.  We wish you much success in your business and hope you will attend a conference to publicly acknowledge the giving and receiving of business referrals.
